About Me
My name is Rosa Tutor. I am currently an elementary and middle school counselor in Memphis, TN.
My previous school counseling experience was working with high school students in college and career readiness.
I obtained my Bachelor's of Arts from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN. It was during my Careers in Psychology course senior year, that I found my calling in the school counseling profession. Previously, I was working and studying to become a lawyer. It was during a school counseling info-session at the University of Memphis that I discovered my true passion for school counseling
I received my Master's of Science in Counseling from the University of Memphis. Through my studies and internships during my program, I grew to love school counseling and couldn't wait to get started in the workforce.
My purpose of this blog is to share my experiences as a school counselor, guidance lessons, and everyday tips with other school counselors. I have found throughout my experience, that school counseling blogs and websites served to be a great resource when looking for new and creative ways to bring school counseling into the classroom.
